Geodan Notes

Our visit to Geodan today was incredibly inspiring. We learned about how to use GIS technologies and the data available to solve problems ranging from where to put ATM’s to measuring noise pollution of windmills. The most inspiring part of the presentation was the creation of a table called Phoenix that allows for easier and more intuitive participatory planning. I’m excited to see how Geodan continues to improve what can be done on the table and the ways that 3D imaging can be used to design the optimal city.
